Approaching the New Moon this song has been playing on repeat in the background of my awareness. I had a hard time placing it at first and then I realized it is one of Alli Caw’s beautiful sonic offerings!
This song gifts us a reminder to allow ourselves to feel the breaking and to know it is right not wrong that we are opening this way at this time.
Being a student of the lunar rhythm, I have come to understand the pulse of the shift between Full and New as the movement between Seeing and Feeling.
So during this New Moon, honor the feelings as they rise and fall. Our feelings are exquisite invitations to help guide us deeper into the unseen realms of our experience. Bringing your compassionate curiosity to your emotions and the emotions of others will reap unexpected insight and the beauty of connection.
A Word on Stress:
In the Pulse of the Week by Richard Rudd, he spoke of how the stress we experience is simply our body’s expression of shallow breathing patterns we learn as adults.
He suggests focusing attention on the perineum and anchoring the breath there. (The perineum is the space between the genitals and anus.) This space, along with the fontanel spot at the top of the head, are the bookends of the central nervous system and also our energetic central channel.
Let’s do ourselves and each other a favor and breathe better!
Do you have Questions?
We will be recording our New Moon Teaching and Questions Answered session next week, so if you have questions about this month’s Full Moon reading, there is still time to send them to Marie-Eve at marie.eve.provencher@gmail.com by Monday.
